We are hiring Zorba (Aluminium scrap) Procurement manager who has experience in procuring zorba - aluminium scrap from Middle east, Europe and America.Location: OMR, Chennai.Pls fill the form and share your updated resume at https://lnkd.in/gPjYajkMSalary: Competitive salary based on your experience and linked to performance.Requirements:Bachelor’s /Master's degree - engineering, science, MBA or relatedMinimum 5 to 8 years working experience in procuring zorba - aluminium scrap from Middle east, Europe and AmericaExperience and knowledge of raw material buying parameters, import process, competitive bidding statutes and purchasing procedures.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical and negotiation skills and ability to make business justification and decision in complex or ambiguous business.Flexibility in working hours. High proficiency in computer literacy.Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.Responsibilities:To handle the responsibility of buying the requisite service or goods needed by their companiesDevelop and manage the proposal, bidding, and negotiation process while adhering to applicable legal standards and codes of ethical conductComply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, standards, and best practicesIssuance of purchase order to suppliers and receipt of order confirmation from suppliersEnsure the adequacy of specifications for purchasing purposesNegotiate major purchases, develop blanket or master agreements with suppliers, and engage in all aspects of contract managementReduction of overall transit time from placement of order until receipt at warehouseConfer with management and staff coordinating purchasing activitiesAddressal of Purchase return and quality complianceAnalyze purchasing related information and evaluate the results to choose the best resolution and alternatives to supply challengesPrepare or oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to the purchasing function for upper managementIdentify, qualify, and select vendors of materials, equipment, products, or services, and conduct overall supplier managementEvaluate cost and quality of materials, equipment, products, or servicesManage purchase requisitions/ordersReview records of materials, equipment, products, or services ordered and receivedGenerate and/or review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecastsFreight Forwarder Management & Reduce procurement costs to the lowest levels consistentlyWhat we offerOpportunity to play an important role in our fast growing business.Substantial responsibility from the early beginning.J
